Sumter School District will host a Fall Teacher Interview Day on November 27-28, 2018.  Participants will have the opportunity to meet school administrators and interview with schools during the event.  Interviews will be conducted in the schools from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Our existing vacancies include: Early Childhood (Kindergarten & 3rd), Elementary (4th & 5th), Middle ELA (6th/7th), Middle Science (8th/6th), Middle Math (7th), Secondary ELA, Secondary Math, Agriculture, and PE, in addition to any verified vacancies for the 2019-20 school year.

Registration for the Fall Teacher Interview Day is limited to those individuals who are certified or eligible for certification in one of the vacancy areas identified in this ad for Sumter School District. December graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a valid Statement of Eligibility from PACE/ABCTE/Teachers of Tomorrow will also be considered.

Once your application has been received and pre-cleared by the Human Resources, you will be contacted by a recruiter to set up interview times with principals. Interviews will be conducted in the schools.
