QUALIFICATIONS:  Must possess a high school diploma or GED; Ability to read, write, and interpret written and oral instructions.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Any Individual holding the position of Food and Nutrition Technician will be responsible to meet all alcohol and drug screen policies and procedures, and to provide a drug free, healthful, and safe and secure work environment.

1. Serves in the absence of Food Service employees.
2. Prepares and serves nutritional meals in an efficient manner.
3. Assumes responsibility for serving meals on schedule and keeping the supply of food replenished regularly.
4. Assist in daily clean up of kitchen, cafeteria, and serving areas according to District, DHEC, and other guidelines.
5. Performs major cleaning of equipment and facility as scheduled by the Food and Nutrition Manager.
6. All other duties as assigned by Food Servce staff and/or management.
